The Professional Course in Project Management is a focused professional development programme designed to provide aspiring and early-to-mid career professionals with practical knowledge and skills in the principles and practices of effective project management. The course leads to the award of the ATHE Level 6 Certificate in Project Management (which carries 15 UK Credits, equivalent to 7.5 ECTS). Through a combination of theoretical concepts and practical application, participants develop an understanding of key areas of project management, including project planning and implementation, resource management, risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, monitoring, and project evaluation.
The programme is designed to strengthen participants’ ability to contribute effectively to the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects within a variety of organisational and professional contexts. It provides a structured deep dive into project management while supporting the development of practical, transferable skills that can be applied in the workplace.
The programme is offered in two distinct tracks and students must choose one at the time of enrolment. Track switching may be permitted upon evaluation by the Academic Board.
On-Site Track (Synchronous): Face-to-face instruction delivered at the Eterna School of Management – Rome Campus.
Online Track (Asynchronous): Full programme delivery via the School's Learning Management System, including pre-recorded lectures, interactive content, digital case studies, and online tutoring. Students on this track follow the same curriculum and assessment schedule as on-site students.
