The Professional Course in Risk Management is a comprehensive programme designed to equip aspiring and early-to-mid career professionals with the knowledge, frameworks, and practical skills required to identify, assess, treat, and monitor risk across diverse industries and organisational contexts. Over the course of the programme, participants develop a solid understanding of risk concepts, enterprise risk management, risk governance, risk appetite and tolerance, internationally recognised risk standards, and risk culture, while strengthening their capabilities in risk identification, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, risk treatment, business continuity, risk reporting, and the monitoring of risk controls.
By combining theoretical foundations with real-world applications, case studies, and collaborative learning experiences, the Professional Course in Risk Management prepares graduates to embed risk thinking in organisational decision-making, protect and create value, and strengthen organisational resilience in an increasingly competitive and rapidly evolving global business landscape.
The programme is offered in two distinct tracks and students must choose one at the time of enrolment. Track switching may be permitted upon evaluation by the Academic Board.
