The Professional Course in Strategic Planning is a comprehensive programme designed to equip aspiring and early-to-mid career professionals with the knowledge, frameworks, and practical skills required to analyse an organisation's environment, formulate strategy, and translate it into actionable plans across diverse industries and organisational contexts. Over the course of the programme, participants develop a solid understanding of strategic analysis, strategy formulation, strategic choice, implementation, and performance monitoring, while strengthening their capabilities in environmental scanning, competitive positioning, goal setting, scenario planning, resource allocation, and strategic control.
By combining theoretical foundations with real-world applications, case studies, and collaborative learning experiences, the Professional Course in Strategic Planning prepares graduates to contribute to the formulation and execution of organisational strategy, support informed decision-making, and drive sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive and rapidly evolving global business landscape.
The programme is offered in two distinct tracks and students must choose one at the time of enrolment. Track switching may be permitted upon evaluation by the Academic Board.
